Kremlin calls EU-orientation a sovereign right of Armenia

Armenia has the sovereign right to orient itself towards joining the European Union (EU). This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on February 12.

"There are certain political forces in Armenia who believe that orienting towards the EU <...> will give some additional dividends for the country itself. <...> This is Armenia's sovereign right," he said at a briefing.
