A new route to the Romanov sites has been developed in Khabarovsk Krai

The Khabarovsk Territory has developed a new historical, cultural and educational tourist route "Khabarovsk Territory. The Way of Emperors". Travelers within the framework of this educational project will be able to visit places where representatives of the Romanov dynasty visited.
The regional Ministry of Tourism toldAmurMedia news agency about the signing in September 2023 of a trilateral agreement on cooperation in promoting the educational project "Imperial Route". It is being implemented in more than 30 Russian regions. In particular, in Khabarovsk Krai tourists will be able to visit locations where Tsesarevich Nicholas Alexandrovich, the future Emperor Nicholas II, visited during his round-the-world trip in 1890-1891.
Participants of the project will be offered to get acquainted with historical facts connecting the last Chinese Emperor Pu Yi. It is known that he spent more than half a year in a two-story house in the territory of the village Krasnaya Rechka. They will also tell about the places linking the head of the DPRK Kim Jong Il with the Khabarovsk Krai. He was born here and visited Khabarovsk many times during his official visits to Russia.
The educational tour is designed for four days. The tour will unite the best tourist locations, including the ancient Nanai village of Sikachi-Alyan with petroglyphs, the Amur Bridge History Museum and the center for preservation of documents and study of book monuments of the Far Eastern State Scientific Library. Moreover, tourists will be able to independently form a trip not only by objects, but also by duration.
In May, the project will be submitted to an expert council to receive the status of national. This is necessary to attract additional funds from the federal budget for the development of tourist infrastructure. In addition, it will help to promote the cultural and historical potential of the region in the tourist market.
In early January, it was reported that about 80 million tourist trips made in Russia by Russian citizens and foreigners from January to November 2024, this figure is 11% higher than the figures for the same period in 2023. According to Rosstat data, the top three leaders in the number of foreigners' trips include Khabarovsk Krai (204%), Amur Region (142%) and Primorye (112%).
