The Investigative Committee requested a report on the inspection after people were poisoned by baked goods in Moscow

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin demanded a report on the progress of the inspection in connection with the poisoning of two people with heavy metals after consuming baked goods. This became known on February 12 in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

"In Moscow, two men were poisoned after eating patties with mercury, which they bought in one of the stores," - stated in the message of the Department.

It is also reported that the investigative authorities in Moscow are conducting a procedural check on the incident, adds "Gazeta.Ru".

Earlier, on February 11, in Moscow, two people were poisoned by baked goods, in which they found mercury-like balls. The medics who arrived on the scene conducted gastric lavage to the victims. Doctors continue to carry out the necessary measures. Later, Rospotrebnadzor launched an epidemiological investigation after the incident.
