Trump has claimed possible kickbacks of up to $1 trillion in government contracting

American officials received "kickbacks" worth billions of dollars when concluding government contracts. This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a speech at the White House on February 12.
"I see huge kickbacks here. No one can be so stupid to conclude such contracts. So, he (the official. - Ed.) should get a kickback for it. That's what I was elected for," explained the head of state.
The U.S. President also expressed hope that the judicial system of the country would allow the executive branch to stop these offenses. According to him, he was elected to find all frauds and abuses of power.
"We have already found several billions of dollars. When we get to the end of this, the amount will probably approach a trillion dollars, which will have a significant impact on the budget," Trump emphasized.
On February 3, American billionaire Ilon Musk announced the launch of the process to liquidate USAID. The businessman noted that the agency is not recoverable and should be closed. At the same time, US President Donald Trump called the heads of the agency radical madmen.
Bloomberg reported on February 5 that Musk's team gained access to the room where secret USAID documents are stored. In addition, more than 100 employees of the agency were sent on administrative leave.
