Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kiev amid air alert

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, air-raid sirens sounded in Kiev, Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnitsa and Zhitomir regions of Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
Earlier in the day it was reported that there was an explosion in Nikolaev in Ukraine. It also became known about explosions near the city of Obukhov in Kiev region.
Russian troops in October 2022 began strikes on military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was in response to terrorist actions by the Kiev regime.
