The investigation into the murder of a 13-year-old girl, which occurred in 2005 in Primorsky Krai, has been completed. This was reported on February 12 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.

"The Investigative Committee of Primorye completed the investigation of the criminal case against a local resident accused of the murder of a minor, committed in the fall of 2005 in the village of Solovey Klyuch", - stated in the message.

According to the investigation, the girl worked part-time on the farm, while the accused man tried to force the child to clean the hen house. After refusal, he hit her on the head with a shovel. The girl ran away into the woods where she died. The man found her and buried her.

At the moment the accused is in custody. As specified in the press service, the criminal case was sent to the Prosecutor.

Earlier, on January 27, in Bratsk district of Irkutsk region, investigators solved the murder of a man, which was committed almost 23 years ago. In September 2002 in the settlement of Karakhun two men in a state of alcoholic intoxication came to an acquaintance in order to clarify relations. Throughout the night, the suspects beat him. Fearing that the victim might contact the police, the next day the men took him to the bay of the Bratsk Reservoir and drowned him by tying a metal object to him.
