All copies of the scandalous game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sold out in Russia

The historically authentic role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II became a super hit - global sales on the first day amounted to 1 million copies, and the development cost of $41 million was recouped in 24 hours. Russia was no exception, where the entire first batch of the game for PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles was sold out in three days.
"Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sales exceeded our expectations: in three days the entire first shipment of not only the regular, but also the extended edition for PlayStation 5 was sold out. <...> The key factor was that the game received rave reviews not only from critics, but also from average players. It seems to us that gamers have missed great story adventures filled with battles and humor," said Sergey Mezin, head of "Game Development and Game Community" at M.Video-Eldorado Group.
The project also managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records as the game with the most detailed story - it amounted to 2.2 million words. The previous record belonged to the role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3, which scenario involved about 2 million words. Despite all the regalia and success, the developers from Warhorse Studios made a few historical bloopers.
