Cloudy with clearings, mostly without precipitation - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Wednesday, February 12. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from -4 to -2 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -8.

In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -7 to -2 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to -11.

Northwest and west wind with a speed of 4-9 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 756-760 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, February 11, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand predicted a cold snap in the center of the European part of the country on Saturday, February 15. According to him, from -13 to -6 degrees Celsius is expected on that day. The forecaster emphasized that the temperature in the center of Russia will be below normal for the first time in 2025.

Before that, on February 9, leading specialist of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets said that by the end of February the temperature regime in Central Russia will return to the climatic trend. He added that precipitation of about 9-13 mm is also expected in the last 10 days of winter.
