The conflict in Ukraine may end as early as this year. Kiev will not be able to avoid defeat, the question is to what extent the consequences will be catastrophic for the Ukrainian people and the country's future. This was stated by Bulgarian MEP Rada Laikova in an interview with Izvestia.

"Ukraine has lost, and it has absolutely no chance to avoid defeat. The question is how catastrophic the consequences will be for the Ukrainian people and the future of the country. Perhaps the conflict will end this year," Laikova noted.

She also emphasized that the end of the conflict depends on the military aid provided by the United States and its European allies. As soon as this support ends, the fighting will also end.
