The economies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries will grow by an average of 4.5% per year until 2030. This follows from the article by experts of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Opportunities for growth of labor productivity and output in the EAEU countries", which was read by Izvestia.

At the same time, according to the December forecasts of the ECB, the economic growth in the eurozone countries for the next three years will not exceed 1.5%. In addition, the experts interviewed by Izvestia expect a rate of no more than 1.8% from 2028 to 2030.

The RAS study notes that the engine of the EAEU economy will be the development of the labor market - countries need to increase productivity. This can be done through technological improvements and motivation.

In addition, the economy of the association will be supported by the development of manufacturing and agriculture, said Tatiana Podolskaya, head of the Department of International Economic Relations of the South Russian Institute of Management of the Presidential Academy.

At the same time, the EU economy is slowing down, in particular, due to the energy crisis and rising electricity prices.
