US President Donald Trump may launch investigations not only in the US Agency for International Development (USAID), but also in the previous administration of the Democrats because of the assassination attempt on him in July 2024. This was stated on February 11 by the head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy Alexei Pushkov.

"It has become known that in the United States, an unnamed informant (whistle-blower) turned to law enforcement agencies accusing the Biden administration, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and former FBI Director Christopher Wray of organizing an assassination attempt on Trump in July 2024. If the informant is to be believed, ex-FBI chief Wray and Pennsylvania State Police chief Christopher Paris allegedly coordinated the organization of the assassination attempt. The indictment also states that members of the Biden administration blocked in every way possible attempts to inform the Secret Service and the FBI apparatus about the existence of the plot," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Pushkov, the case under Trump will not be limited to "USAID revelations alone."

Earlier, on February 8, Trump demanded that the Secret Service provide him with "all information" about the assassins who made an attempt on his life. He also accused former US President Joe Biden of withholding information.

In 2024, Trump survived two assassination attempts. The first occurred on July 13 at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The politician was shot tangentially in the ear. One of the spectators was killed, two were injured. The second attempt was made on September 15: there was a shooting at a golf club in West Palm Beach. Trump was 500 meters from the scene. The perpetrators in both cases were detained.

The election of the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 51% of the votes, while the candidate from the Democrats Kamala Harris - 47.4%. Later, the politician, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th President of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.
