One person was killed in a collision between two boats in the Gulf of Finland

As a result of a collision of two boats in the waters of the Gulf of Finland in the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg, one person was killed. This was reported in the press service of the Western Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on February 11.

A man driving an airboat in the waters of the Gulf of Finland in the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg collided with another boat. From the received injuries the man died at the scene, the press service reports.

It is specified that on the fact of the incident was also organized pre-investigative inspection, at the scene of the accident are carried out verification measures. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier in the day it was reported that in the waters of the Kurkutsky Bay in the Olkhonsky district collided passenger car Haval and hovercraft (hivus) brand "Amadeus-1". The Eastern Interregional Investigation Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation organized a pre-investigation investigation into the accident.
