Man injured in AFU drone attack in Nova Kakhovka


A civilian was injured due to the dropping of an explosive object from a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson Region. This was reported by the head of the city district Vitaly Gura on February 11.
"A 33-year-old man was injured. Mine-explosive trauma, wound in the stomach, damage to the joint of the middle finger on the right hand," - stated in the message in Telegram-channel.
Gura specified that the victim was hospitalized in the central city hospital (CCH).
Earlier, on February 8, the AFU dealt a massive blow to Novaya Kakhovka, resulting in damage to five apartment buildings, as well as an administrative building, a non-functioning store, a farm building and two power lines.
Before that, on February 6, a woman was injured in the shelling of the town, she was taken to hospital with a mine blast injury and shrapnel wounds to her legs.
The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022
