Marines told about the destruction of AFU fighters with "Lancets" in the Kursk border area

Marines of the 155th brigade of the Pacific Fleet's 155th brigade of the "North" group of forces destroy militants and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border areas of the Kursk Region. "Izvestia" showed footage of the combat work of Russian servicemen.

According to the military, Lancet drones in the Kursk direction destroyed armored vehicles, tanks and other enemy equipment.

"Tanks were shot down, air defense systems were also shot down, MLRS were shot down. We can hit everything. The enemy jeeps, maybe with the command," said a technician of the UAV detachment of the 155th Marine Brigade with the call sign Portnoy.

The Lancet drones can be launched not only from the ground, but also from vehicles, such as Ural or KamAZ trucks.

"The setup [for launching] is more like a catapult. It takes no more than 10 minutes to deploy. Due to nanocomposite materials, enemy REBs are powerless. And even air defense systems won't notice a flying barrage munition. But if the Lancet detects the target, the enemy will not have the slightest chance to dodge it," emphasized Izvestia correspondent Vladislav Kharchenko.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Grad multiple rocket launchers of the separate Guards Marine Brigade as part of the "North" force grouping had destroyed military equipment and concentrations of AFU personnel. The data received from UAVs in real time helped to confirm the successful defeat of the targets.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
