An accident involving an ambulance occurred in the Samara region


In Syzran, Samara region, there was an accident involving an ambulance. This was reported on February 11 in the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.
It is noted that the driver of the GAZ ambulance car, born in 1974, while driving with a flashing light on, drove through a prohibited traffic signal and did not make sure that he yielded the way. As a result, he collided with a Lada Niva car driven by a driver born in 2001.
"At the scene of the accident, two passengers in the GAZ car received one-off medical assistance. There were no patients in the GAZ car", - stated in the message of the Department in the Telegram-channel.
Earlier, on the night of February 7, in the center of Belgorod there was an accident involving an ambulance. The driver of the car BMW, having passed the intersection on a red light, crashed into the ambulance. As a result of the accident, two female paramedics were killed. A spontaneous memorial was set up at the scene of the accident, where residents carried flowers to honor the memory of the victims. Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that he personally knew the victims, adding that the regional authorities would provide assistance to the families of the dead girls. The city police opened a criminal case on the incident.
