An An-24 airplane rolled out of the runway in YNAO


Rosaviatsia has launched an investigation into the incident of an airplane rolling out of the runway limiting lights in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. This was reported on February 11 by the official representative of the agency Artem Korenyako.
"The commission of the Tyumen MTU of Rosaviatsia is investigating a serious aviation incident that occurred on Tuesday, February 11, with an An-24RV aircraft (registration number RA-47820) of UTair Airlines (JSC) in the Tazovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District," Korenyako said in a message in his Telegram channel.
It specified that at 09:00 Moscow time, after landing and running through the airport's GDP, the plane rolled beyond the runway's restrictive lights. The aircraft was flying from Sabbeta airport on the Yamal Peninsula. There were 23 people on board, including four crew members and 19 passengers, no one was injured.
The vessel was towed away, tentatively, there is no damage on it.
"The key objective of the investigation is to establish the causes of a serious aviation incident and to take measures to prevent them in the future," the Rosaviatsia spokesman specified.
Earlier, on January 25, Rosaviatsia launched an investigation into the incident involving an An-24 plane in Khabarovsk Krai, when the aircraft rolled beyond the runway during takeoff. The Eastern Interregional Investigation Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation specified that the incident is being investigated on the grounds of a crime under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of safety of movement and operation of air transport").
