An acute desire to eat a fermented milk product (for example, cottage cheese) indicates a lack of some fats, enzymes, bacteria in the digestive system. This was stated by nutritionist, nutriciologist Roman Pristansky on Tuesday, February 11.

"Perhaps it is a lack of calcium. There is a huge number of diverse reasons here. But you should not seriously deny yourself anything," - explained the expert in conversation with Radio 1.

He added that by the process of fermentation fermented dairy products are much calmer reacting with the internal flora.

"Amino acids from there are digested much easier. But there are GI problems, however, there is now a huge amount of lactose-free cottage cheese available. You just have to look at the composition and find the right case for yourself," concluded Pristansky.
