In Ukraine, armed men freed two mobilized men from a bus

A group of armed men in Ukraine has freed two mobilized servicemen from a bus with servicemen. This was reported in the press service of the national police of Ukraine on February 11.

"Two figures "cut" the bus with servicemen by car, introduced themselves as police officers and threatening to use weapons to kill in the cabin of the bus, took with them two mobilized men", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

It specified that the attackers then fled, but were found and detained by the police. According to the agency, for each released mobilized men were to receive $5 thousand.

On the eve it became known that a resident of Chernihiv in Ukraine sprayed a gas canister in the face of an employee of the territorial center for recruitment and social support (TCS and SP, an analogue of the military recruitment office). It was specified that after the deed the man ran away and hid in the house, but he was detained. During searches at the place of residence of the defendant, the police seized a kilogram of cannabis, as well as ammunition of different caliber.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky (powers expired in May 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
