The government is thinking about payments to teachers for the success of pupils

The Russian Government together with the Tax Service are working on the possibility of rewarding teachers for the success of their students. This was reported on February 11 by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko at the government hour in the State Duma.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the pilot program for a new model of remuneration of labor in the part of budgetary organizations, including teachers, is being tested by the taming of the President, and the main task here is to ensure fair and decent working conditions for teachers. One of the tools that are being worked out within the framework of the strategy is a system of rewarding teachers for the success of students in adult life.

"We are now working with the Federal Tax Service, since personal income tax is a regional tax, to develop such a possibility so that the success of a trained student is reflected in the income of the teacher," Chernyshenko said.

He added that, according to the decree of the head of state, the average salary of teachers in the country should correspond to the average income in the region.
