About 50% of Russians noted their readiness to assume financial support of the family

Among the Russians surveyed, 4% are ready to break off a relationship if their partner earns 10% less. For 2% of respondents, a difference of 30% is critical, 6% said they would break up with their partner if he earns half as much. At the same time, 48% are ready to take on the financial support of the family, regardless of the income of the other half, according to the results of the study of the service "Work.ru", which were read by "Izvestia" on February 12.

At the same time, 40% of respondents do not consider the difference in earnings critical, but admit that it may affect future relationships.

In addition, 30% of respondents would like their partner to change the sphere of activity or job. Women stated this more often than men (34% vs. 25%).

At the same time, 2% of respondents consider the partner's earnings up to 50 thousand rubles sufficient. 17% of respondents named acceptable income from Br50 thousand to Br100 thousand, 25% - from Br100 thousand to Br200 thousand, 10% - from Br200 thousand to Br300 thousand. For 9% of respondents the partner's income from Br300 thousand and higher is important. One third of the survey participants (34%) say that the earnings of the other half do not matter to them.

Men most often (47%) noted that the salary of their girlfriend does not matter to them, while women most often (31%) highlighted the amount of Br100 thousand to Br200 thousand as an acceptable earnings of a partner.

As previously reported, January 10, about 43% of respondents believe that financial goals should be discussed regularly or at least once every few months. This was stated in a study by VTB Bank. More than half of Russians (51%) set a goal to create a safety cushion for their family. About a third of respondents (34%) plan to save up to buy a home, and 28% plan to ensure a decent old age.
