ZNPP safety system shut down the Ferrosplavnaya-1 line

The security system of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has cut off the supply of electricity through the 330 kV high-voltage line "Ferrosplavnaya-1". This was reported by the press service of the plant on February 11.
"At Zaporizhzhya NPP by action of protection the high-voltage line of power supply 330kV "Ferrosplavnaya-1" is switched off. Own needs of NPP are powered from the line 750 kV "Dneprovskaya". No violations of safety limits and conditions have been recorded," - stated in a statement in the Telegram-channel.
The message noted that now all units of Zaporizhzhya NPP are stopped. Also the equipment is maintained in accordance with all regulations under strict control of radiation safety standards.
Earlier, on February 4, means of electronic warfare (REB) suppressed two kamikaze drones of Ukraine in an attempt to attack the satellite town of ZNPP Energodar. It is specified that there are no casualties and fires.
Before that, on January 23, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the nuclear safety situation at ZNPP was not improving and the IAEA mission was far from being completed. The head of the agency recalled that the inspectors who are at the plant have heard frequent explosions outside the plant, and this indicates "a continuing threat to nuclear safety."
Zaporizhzhya region, where the nuclear power plant is located, became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Since then, Zaporizhzhya NPP has been under constant IAEA supervision.
