Mishustin announced plans to increase labor productivity in Russia by 20%

Labor productivity in the country should grow by 20% in six years. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a strategic session on February 11.

According to him, about 7 thousand enterprises from different sectors have already joined the national project "Labor Productivity", more than 100 thousand employees have been trained in modern management, and about 5.5 thousand organizations have increased profits by 430 billion rubles. In addition, 1.5 thousand companies were able to enter new markets.

"We expect that as a result, labor productivity in Russia will grow by more than 20% in six years. These are the benchmarks," Mishustin emphasized.

The Prime Minister also pointed out the importance of introducing effective mechanisms to support business and optimize internal processes, taking into account the needs of different sectors of the economy, "Gazeta.Ru" added .

Earlier, on February 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Mishustin said that increasing labor productivity in Russia is one of the key tasks, and noted that it is necessary to change the very structure of economic growth.

Prior to that, on February 6, Putin predicted that the total need of the Russian economy in personnel by 2029 will be over 74 million people. The head of state emphasized that the projected amount - almost 1 million - is higher than in 2024. At the same time, the main demand, as in the current time, will be for specialists with secondary vocational education, the president added.
