An FPV drone destroyed an AFU armored vehicle in Kharkiv region

The FPV drone of the Northern Group of Forces has destroyed an armored combat vehicle (ACV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. Images of the military's combat work were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 11.

"The servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops with the help of UAVs in the area of a forest belt in Kharkiv region identified an armored combat vehicle (ACV) of the enemy," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the Ukrainian equipment was transporting AFU fighters for rotation. Having analyzed the intelligence data, the Russian military decided to strike the armored vehicle, and the FPV-drone calculation promptly hit the enemy vehicle. The objective control footage shows that the drone hit was direct, the target was destroyed.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the fighters of the "West" group of forces destroyed two combat vehicles and an M-113 armored personnel carrier of the AFU in Kharkiv region by using FPV drones. The destroyed enemy vehicles were heading towards the Russian positions.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
