Sberbank told about the work of the long-term savings program

In 2024, Russians entered into 1.9 million contracts under the SberNPF long-term savings program. According to preliminary estimates, the volume of assets under them will amount to 141 billion rubles. This was announced at a press conference by Ruslan Vesterovsky, Senior Vice President, Head of Sberbank's Wealth Management unit.
"The first year of the Long-Term Savings Program (LTSP) has shown: people are interested in the new tool. By the end of 2024, Russians have entered into 1.9 million PDS agreements with SberNPF, which is 68% of the number of registered PDS accounts in the country. Many people have transferred their funded pensions into the program: last year we helped 334,000 of our clients with this. Now this money will become part of long-term savings and will help build a secure financial future. An additional benefit was investment income. Russians earned 17.8% per annum under the long-term savings program at SberNPF. This money has already been deposited into PDS accounts," Vesterovsky said.
Last year, the country's residents put aside Br48 billion with the long-term savings program and transferred Br67 billion of funded pension funds into it with the help of "SberNPF". According to SberNPF data, contracts under the long-term savings program are more often concluded by women (61%). The program is most popular among Muscovites: they opened 138 thousand PDS-accounts. Residents of the Moscow region (87 thousand contracts), Krasnodar region (77 thousand), Nizhny Novgorod region (73 thousand) and Perm region (67 thousand) were also among the leaders.
