Forest patrol routes approved in the Moscow region


Forestry patrol routes for 2025 have been approved in the Moscow Region. This will allow to protect forests, timely detect fires and prevent violations by citizens, reports the press service of the regional forestry committee.
When drafting the document took into account the "flammability" of forest areas, the presence of accumulations of garbage, recreational load, materials of remote monitoring of forest use and more.
In total, more than 2.7 thousand routes for patrolling have been approved, their total length is over 129.9 thousand kilometers. They are as close as possible to settlements, SNTs, dacha non-commercial associations, recreation areas and areas where forest protection and reproduction work will take place.
As noted by the Internet edition "Podmoskovye Segodnya", the longest routes for patrolling are located on the territory of Klin (25.2 km), Volokolamskoye (11 km) and Sergiev Posadskoye lesnichestvo (10.5 km). Monitoring will be carried out by forest protection officers on foot or in cars.
Earlier it was reported that in the Moscow region in 2025 will carry out agrotechnical and silvicultural care on an area of 11.5 thousand hectares. This will improve the quantitative and qualitative indicators of plants.
