On Tuesday, February 11, the Moscow House of Books on Novy Arbat hosted a lecture-presentation of the book "On the Way to Superpower. State and Law in Times of War and Peace (1939-1953)" by Pavel Krashennikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation, Doctor of Law, Professor.

"We had different histories, different views on all this and different influence of the Russian language, Russian law and the church, but nevertheless, time after time we still came to the fact that these are important points that unite us all," he shared.

Krashennikov specified that his work talks quite a lot about the pre-war time, the events of that period of history, as well as the formation and growth of Russia's military power.

He also pointed out the sequence of events and their connection with each other. At the same time, he called it impossible for one event to exist without another.

"On the Way to Superpower" became the seventh book in his cycle of works. He shared that the part analyzed the enacted acts of labor, civil and military law. In addition, the work pays attention to the Nuremberg process, Tehran and Yalta conferences.
