Ukraine says gas infrastructure damaged in northeast of Ukraine

Gas infrastructure facilities have been damaged in north-eastern Ukraine. This was reported on February 11 in the press service of the company "Naftogaz of Ukraine".

"Damage received production facilities of the group "Naftogaz" in the Poltava region", - stated in the Telegram-channel.

The company specified that there are no victims. In addition, Naftogaz said that the necessary measures to stabilize the situation with gas supply in the Poltava region.

Earlier in the day, the Minister of energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko reported on the introduction of emergency blackouts throughout the country. According to him, the measure was taken in connection with damage to the energy system and in order to "minimize possible consequences for the energy system".

Before that, the Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported about explosions in the city of Boryspil in the Kiev region. It was specified that the air alert was announced in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kiev regions.
