Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov instructed prosecutors of all subjects of the country to initiate the adoption of the law, according to which children of participants of the special military operation (SMO) are guaranteed to receive payments regardless of the place of registration of the military parent. This was reported in the press service of the department on February 11.

"Krasnov instructed the prosecutors of all subjects to initiate the adoption of the law, which regardless of the place of registration of participants of the SWO guarantees the provision of payments to their children", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Prosecutor's office.

This was prompted by the story of a 16-year-old from the Chelyabinsk region, who lost social support because his father went to the special operation zone from another region.

Earlier, on February 6, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the government had prepared amendments on the application-free procedure for assigning disability pensions to volunteers of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics who suffered on the battlefield. According to him, such an approach has already been envisaged in the draft law for members of military formations.
