According to the material, to create a planetary defense team, the Chinese State Administration of Defense Science, Technology and Industry is recruiting space researchers. As indicated, candidates are offered three vacancies.

It is specified that for operational tracking of asteroids, the center, which is responsible for aerospace engineering research and observation of the planet, is recruiting university graduates. They will also be involved in the creation of an early warning system, clarifies "Gazeta.Ru".

Astronomer, scientific director of the observatory Ka-Dar and astrofarm "Astroverty" Stanislav Korotsky January 29, said that the asteroid 2024 YR4, discovered last December, may collide with Earth in 2032.
