Crocus International has been recognized as a victim in the case of the terrorist attack that took place in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. About it on February 11 reports TASS with reference to the case materials.

"By this resolution to recognize the joint-stock company "Crocus International" as a victim in the criminal case initiated under art. 205, 205.5, 222, 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act, illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives, participation in the activities of a terrorist organization")", - stated in the documents.

Under the Criminal Procedure Code, a victim can familiarize himself with the case materials in full, take part in the trial, provide evidence, file a petition and file a civil suit to obtain compensation.

Since the victim in this case is recognized as a legal entity, the exercise of these rights can be made on behalf of the company's representative.

Earlier, February 6, lawyer of one of the defendants Oleg Vlasov reported on the completion of the criminal investigation into the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. He specified that the parties began to study the case file.

Prior to that, January 14, Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Alexander Bastrykin said that 27 defendants had been brought as accused in the case.

The terrorist attack in "Crocus City Hall" took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage burst into the building, they organized shooting and set fire to the concert hall. The attack killed 145 people and injured 551.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said that the terrorists who committed the attack after the crime were supposed to cross the border between Russia and Ukraine, come to Kiev and receive the promised reward. During interrogations, the accused confirmed that their actions were supervised by a certain man through voice messages in the messenger Telegram.

A criminal case was opened under Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Terrorist Act"). In April, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said that there was an obvious Ukrainian trace in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. The head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, said on May 24 that more than 20 people, including perpetrators and accomplices, had been detained in the case. All of them have been taken into custody and their arrest has been extended several times.
