Vilfand predicted cold weather in the center of Russia on February 15

The air temperature in the center of European Russia on Saturday, February 15, will fall below the climatic norm for the first time in 2025. This was reported to "RIA Novosti" on February 11 by Roman Vilfand, scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.

"In the rear of the cyclone, which will be located to the east of European Russia, the entry of cold air masses is already predicted," he noted.

Thus, according to Wilfand, February 15 is predicted to be -13...-8 degrees, and daytime temperatures will be -11...-6 degrees. The forecaster stressed that since February 15, the temperature in the center of European Russia will be below normal for the first time in 2025.

At the main weather station VDNKh the minimum temperature was -7.6 degrees. In Moscow region, the lowest temperature was recorded in Cherusti and amounted to -12.7 degrees.
