In Ukraine, in the city of Pavlograd in Dnipropetrovsk region, there were sounds of explosions amid an air alert. This was reported by the Ukrainian TV channel TSN on February 11.

"Pavlograd/r-n - explosions," - stated in the message of the TV channel in Telegram-channel.

According to the online map of Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert was declared in Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Odessa, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kirovograd, Chernigov and Kyiv regions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day it was reported that in the city of Merefa, Kharkiv region, there were sounds of explosions against the background of the air alarm.

The day before it became known that in Kharkiv there was an explosion against the background of the air alarm. At the same time there were explosions in the city of Samar (called Novomoskovsk until 2024) in Dnepropetrovsk region and in Kiev-controlled Kherson.

Russian forces in October 2022 began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was in response to terrorist actions by the Kiev regime.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
