UAVs of the "West" group of forces destroyed AFU equipment in LNR

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of the reconnaissance battalion of the 144th motorized rifle division of the 20th Guards All-War Army of the "West" group of forces destroyed vehicles and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 11.

In the zone of the special military operation (SMO), servicemen of the Russian army are actively using various UAVs. For example, drone operators constantly record and broadcast to control centers the coordinates of the location of military facilities, command posts, strongholds, positions, dugouts, weapons and military equipment of Ukrainian militants.

For example, fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in one of the directions in the LNR zone of the LNR found and destroyed armored vehicles with personnel and an AFU tank deep behind enemy lines at a distance of more than 20 km. After the group returned to the temporary deployment point without losses.

The agency noted that the positions of the scouts are in close proximity to the line of contact in order to make deep raids into the enemy rear.

Also, in addition to combat sorties, the fighters constantly conduct reconnaissance of the enemy's unmanned aircraft. Based on the results of interceptions, specialists in electronic warfare (REB) and unmanned aviation develop new ways to counter strike and reconnaissance drones, uncover their takeoff points, as well as the methods of work of enemy operators.

"We work every day. We are chasing the enemy. The enemy is having a hard time. For example, this morning a pickup truck that was making a rotation was hit," said the commander of the strike UAV calculation with the call sign Colt.
