CICA Secretary General spoke about the expansion of the structure

The Kingdom of Morocco may receive observer status at CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia), Secretary General of the association Kairat Sarybay told Izvestia.

"Interest in the observer format is also shown by the representative of Africa - the Kingdom of Morocco," - said Sarybay.

Earlier it became known that the Secretary General of CICA will visit Russia with a working visit on February 11-12.

Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia is a unique pan-Asian platform for dialog, uniting 28 states of the continent. It was founded in 1992. At the summit in 2022, the Astana Statement was adopted to transform the meeting into an international organization.
