The Ministry of Agriculture has raised for a year the rate on favorable investment loans for agricultural producers issued at 5%. This information was confirmed to "Izvestia" in the press service of the Ministry.

The Ministry of Agriculture has already declared its readiness to redistribute the freed limits

"The amount of subsidization on previously issued loans is fixed at 50% of the key rate of the Central Bank. This norm is due to the growth of the key rate last year and is set only for this year with the possibility of prolongation of preferential investment loans for up to one year", - explained in the Ministry of Agriculture.

At the same time, they noted that in 2025 it is envisaged to subsidize 70% of the key rate by the Bank of Russia for new short-term soft loans in priority areas, including seasonal field work, dairy cattle breeding, breeding and genetics. At the same time, the limit on them is higher almost twice the previous year's figure.

"It is worth noting that the current conditions of preferential lending to the agro-industrial complex will allow to ensure the stable development of the industry and food security of our country," the ministry emphasized.
