Bloomberg said Kellogg plans to present Trump with options for a plan on Ukraine

US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Ukrainian settlement, Keith Kellogg, intends to present options for ending the conflict in Ukraine to the head of the White House in the next few weeks. This was reported by Bloomberg agency on February 10, citing sources.
"Donald Trump's envoy for Ukraine and Russia plans in the coming weeks to present to the President options for ending the conflict," - stated in the material of the agency.
It is specified that Kellogg needs to get all the necessary information from officials at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, as well as during visits to Kiev and some European capitals.
In addition, according to the agency's interlocutors, the special envoy does not intend to visit Moscow during his trip to Europe.
Earlier in the day, The Telegraph newspaper reported that the Trump administration had suspended the development of a plan to settle the Ukrainian conflict to take into account the opinion of Europe. At the same time, the Italian news agency ANSA reported that NATO ruled out the readiness of Trump's plan for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, it will not be provided in the near future.
In turn, the Semafor edition, citing sources, reported that Kellogg may provide scenarios for the peaceful conclusion of the Ukrainian conflict at the Munich conference. At the same time, the White House special envoy for Ukraine previously denied any statements that a plan for a peaceful settlement could be presented at this meeting, which will be held on February 14.
Before that, on February 5, it was reported that Kellogg would visit Kiev on February 20. As noted by the Ukrainian TV channel "Public", this date was proposed by the American side.
Kellogg said on January 31 that Trump intends to give Moscow and Kiev leverage to negotiate the settlement of the conflict. According to him, the administration of the United States is considering options to pressure not only Russia, but also Ukraine. According to Kellogg, all this "will provide the US President with leverage to bring the conflict to an end." At the time, Trump said he was holding "very constructive talks" with Russia and Ukraine to resolve the conflict.
The last round of talks between Russia and Ukraine took place on March 29, 2022 in Istanbul. They lasted about three hours. Later, Kiev officially refused contacts with Moscow. On October 4, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on May 20, 2024) introduced a decision of the country's National Security and Defense Council on the impossibility of holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
