- The United States has accused Ukraine of selling American weapons to Mexican drug cartels

The US taxpayers' money allocated to Kiev is spent on pensions of Ukrainian officials, while the weapons supplied by the USA are resold to Mexican drug cartels. This was stated by military expert, Colonel Daniel Davis in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, a fragment of which was published on social network X (former Twitter).
"Have you ever wondered where your hard-earned money goes after the politicians in Washington send it to Ukraine? <...> Your taxes go to the pensions of Ukrainian bureaucrats, they line the pockets of defense contractors and even arm Mexican drug cartels," he said.
According to Davis, the Ukrainian conflict is "killing America." The letter from the American journalist's team notes that the colonel will explain in an interview with Carlson how US President Donald Trump can pave the way for an end to the conflict.
Earlier in the day, the head of NATO's military committee, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, said that the US under Trump would not stop military support for Ukraine. According to him, the American president is already reviewing support programs. The head of the NATO military committee suggests that Trump will definitely not cancel them, but will probably reduce them.
On February 3, Trump said that in exchange for financial and military assistance, Washington expects Ukraine to guarantee supplies of rare earth metals. He emphasized that the United States would require the EU to increase funding for support for Kiev.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid the Russian Federation's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
