50 patriotic events for young people will be organized in Moscow

A series of patriotic events for young people "Lesson of Courage" will be held in Moscow by the end of the year. It will include meetings with active servicemen and veterans, as well as quests, quizzes and sports training, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said.

"For the youth of the capital prepared more than 50 events timed to the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. The guys will get acquainted with the history of our country and communicate with heroes, get useful skills at master classes and visit excursions", - she noted.

The cycle was opened by a meeting held by the participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO) Ivan Chenin, Andrei Landin, Georgy Wilhelm and Hero of the Russian Federation Maxim Bakharev. Using their example, they told about what courage is and answered the questions of the audience.

In addition, a sports lesson was organized with titled guests: three-time World Cup champion in kickboxing Roman Pitko, world champion in kickboxing and European champion in boxing Svetlana Andreeva and Lieutenant Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, special unit coach Sergei Gromakov.

Among the upcoming events are meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War and a historical quest "Memory for the Ages", dedicated to the events and heroes of 1941-1945.

Participants are also expected to get acquainted with a female SWO participant, trainings with famous athletes and a master class on first aid.

Citizens aged 18 to 35 will be able to join. Registration will be available on the portal "Youth of Moscow". The program was prepared by the youth community "STOLitsa".
