Almost 20 thousand residents of the Irkutsk region fell ill with acute respiratory viral infections

Over the past week in the Irkutsk region more than 19.9 thousand people went to the doctors with acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). This is reported by IA IrkutskMedia with reference to information from Rospotrebnadzor.

Among the sick - 12.6 thousand children. In the region laboratory confirmed 104 cases of influenza and 74 cases of COVID-19.

Local residents are reminded that at the appearance of the first signs of the disease should contact doctors, self-medication is inadmissible.

In the Tula region Rospotrebnadzor recommended stores to strengthen preventive measures because of the active circulation of influenza viruses. Employees of retail outlets are advised to wear masks.
