Lavrov announces revision of Russia's commitments to the IMF, WB and WTO

Russia will review its commitments to international organizations that practice discriminatory approaches. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on February 10.
According to him, international organizations are turning into a tool of hybrid warfare, and Western countries are using their own hands to destroy the system that was built to serve their own financial, economic and trade interests in the post-war period. He specified. that it is about the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (WB) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
"Under these conditions, our commitments to the organizations, where openly discriminatory approaches are practiced, where the statutory principle of equal rights of participants is not observed, where agreed consensus procedures are violated, will be reviewed," the Minister's words are quoted on the Foreign Ministry's website.
The head of the diplomatic department specified that this process has already begun, and in some cases the obligations will be reconsidered radically.
Lavrov also pointed out that the Russian Federation will continue efforts to create mechanisms of international settlements invulnerable to external pressure and all the things that build normal communication between countries in various spheres of life.
