Rabies quarantine imposed in the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai

Rabies quarantine was imposed in Minusinsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory). The disease was detected in a domestic dog.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia IA, the rabies center is located in the private sector on Lugovoy Street. The dog has never been vaccinated against the dangerous disease. It is assumed that the dog could have been in contact with other animals.

The quarantine will operate within a radius of 1.5 km from the focus. On the territory it is forbidden to hold events associated with the movement and congregation of animals. Capture of wild animals susceptible to rabies is also prohibited.

The quarantine will be in effect until February 22.
