In the Irkutsk Region, the process of lifting a ship that sank 30 years ago from the bottom of the Angara River has been completed. The structure was harmful to the environment.

According to IrkutskMedia IA, the local administration of river basins was obliged to organize the disposal of the vessel by the decision of the district court. A set of enforcement measures was initiated by bailiffs. The organization was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility, the total amount of fines for non-enforcement of the decision exceeded 500 thousand rubles.

A criminal case was initiated against the head of the organization for non-enforcement of the court decision. As a result, the vessel was raised from the bottom, now it is subject to disposal.

In Murmansk, two vessels that sank near the southern side of the pier will be raised from the bottom by September 2025.
