A British spy plane flew in Finnish airspace on the border with Russia. This was reported by broadcaster Yle on February 10, citing Flightradar data.

"Currently in the airspace of Finland is flying a reconnaissance aircraft of the British Air Force," - stated in the publication.

It is specified that the RC-135W Rivet Join aircraft flew from the airbase in Waddington. In Finland, the plane flew from south to north near the Russian border.

As the broadcaster writes, the British reconnaissance aircraft is designed for electronic reconnaissance, and can also find radar signals and do analysis of communication traffic.

Earlier, on January 9, it was reported that the American reconnaissance plane made an observation flight in the airspace of Finland near the border with Russia. It was specified that the plane took off from the Waddington airbase in the UK and flew through the airspace of Denmark and Sweden to the Gulf of Finland.
