Stores in the Tula region were recommended to strengthen cold prevention measures due to active flu circulation. Such an announcement appeared on the website of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor on Monday, February 10.

Employees of retail outlets are advised to wear masks and change them every two to three hours, observe the rules of personal hygiene. It is necessary to monitor the body temperature of the staff and the room, writes TSN24.

It is also necessary to carry out more frequent sanitary treatment in stores, disinfect surfaces in the cash register area, carts, baskets and other equipment for visitors.

According to the agency, now the epidemiological situation on influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in the Tula region is generally favorable, but the seasonal increase in morbidity continues.

Last week, 4217 cases of acute respiratory viral infections were recorded, which is 10.5% higher than the level of the previous week. The morbidity does not exceed the epidemic thresholds. Also 46 cases of laboratory confirmed influenza were registered.
