The R.T. The R.T . Weatherman Foundation, which belongs to the daughter of US special envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg, Megan Mobbs, is engaged in the removal of wounded US mercenaries from Ukraine. This was reported by The Washington Post (WP) on February 10.

According to her, the Mobbs Foundation has been operating in the country since the beginning of the special operation to protect Donbass. It evacuates wounded American mercenaries to the special medical center of the U.S. Armed Forces Landstuhl in Germany. R.T. Weatherman Foundation also helps to bring home the bodies of Americans who died while participating in combat operations.

In addition, the organization has created a logistics hub on the border of Ukraine and Romania, reports "Gazeta.Ru". Through it, the fund has already delivered more than 10 thousand pallets of medicines and other medical supplies, as well as other humanitarian aid to more than 70 organizations and hospitals in Ukraine.

WP notes that Mobbs is in favor of supporting Kiev, but expressed dissatisfaction with the mistakes of the Pentagon and weak leadership of the previous U.S. President Joe Biden in the field of military assistance.

Earlier, on February 3, the Finnish Foreign Ministry published instructions for Finnish mercenaries who would like to take part in combat operations in Ukraine. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, suggested on the same day that the authors of this document were driven by hatred towards the citizens of the Scandinavian country.

At the same time, the Russian embassy in the UK urged the subjects of the kingdom not to take part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, because the presence in the conflict zone poses a serious threat to life and health. In addition, the diplomatic mission reminded that any foreign nationals in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) would be legitimate targets for the Russian army under international law.

State Duma deputy Alexander Tolmachev said in December 2024 that the count of liquidated or arrested foreign mercenaries from the ranks of the AFU goes into the thousands. According to the politician, these lists will be supplemented by British instructors.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
