U.S. President Donald Trump on Feb. 10 ordered the firing of all employees of the review boards of the Army, Air Force, Naval and Coast Guard academies, which he said have been infiltrated by leftist ideologies.

"Leftist ideologues have infiltrated our service academies over the past four years. I have ordered their immediate dismissal from the review boards of the Army, Air Force, Naval Academy and Coast Guard Academy," the US leader wrote on his Truth Social media page.

He noted that the US will have "the strongest military in history" and will start by appointing new officers to these Boards.

"We must make the military academies great again!" - he added.

Earlier on February 7, American billionaire Ilon Musk said that the US will not win the next wars if the military is not immediately reformed. According to Musk, the current strategy is to create a small number of weapons at a high price to fight "yesterday's war."

Prior to that, on January 30, U.S. Army Secretary nominee Daniel Driscoll said that the U.S. technological advantage is shrinking and the Army needs to accelerate modernization and better prepare forces for advances in unmanned and autonomous warfare.
