The cheapest cars in Russia for maintenance have been named

Chinese cars turned out to be the most budget-friendly in terms of maintenance in Russia. This was reported by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" on February 10 with reference to the research of Fit Service network of car service centers for 2024.

Thus, the average check for maintenance and repair of Chinese cars last year amounted to Br8.8 thousand. Korean cars are in second place in the rating (Br9.6 thousand), followed by Russian (Br9.9 thousand) and Japanese (Br10.1 thousand).

The most expensive cars in terms of maintenance were cars of brands from Germany (Br12.3 thousand), Italy (Br13.5 thousand) and the UK (Br14.6 thousand).

"We can assume that owners of traditionally "strong", reliable German cars postponed serious repairs in unstable 2023 and started them in 2024 in full. Now in the middle of our rating are American, French and Czech brands. Chinese brands, as in the previous year, turned out to be the most economical. But this is again explained by the novelty of this fleet, not by the lack of breakdowns", - explained the director of the network of car services Fit Service Tatiana Ovchinnikova.
