- A doctor has named the cause of emotional outbursts and irritability

Constant cell phone use leads to fatigue with corresponding changes in the body. This was stated by Rinat Bogdanov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, neurologist, head of the Department of Neurology of the Institute of Advanced Medical Education of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Pirogov National Medical and Surgical Center on Monday, February 10.
"There is a constant incoming flow. On the one hand, it is a conditionally analgesic effect - distraction, and on the other hand, it is overwork, leading to irritable weakness, emotional outbursts, irritability, exhaustion, loss of efficiency", - explained the expert in conversation with "Radio 1".
He added that when using a smartphone, it is worth adhering to basic hygiene measures related to time limitation.
"If you immerse yourself in the digital environment, it is necessary to understand why you are doing this, for what purpose. Perform consciously this task and disconnect. Otherwise it will lead to addiction," the doctor explained.
Bogdanov noted that you can check your dependence on the phone by giving it up for a day and replacing it with physical activity.
February 6, epidemiologist and deputy president of the Russian Academy of Education Gennady Onishchenko reminded about possible health problems caused by uncontrolled use of mobile devices, Life.Ru writes.
According to the doctor, electromagnetic fields created by gadgets can have an adverse effect on the brain and the central nervous system, reports 360.ru.
In September 2024, clinical psychologist of the network of boarding houses for the elderly "Warm Talks" Victoria Kondrashina told "Izvestia" about the benefits of digital detox. According to her, it is not only a rejection of technology, but also an opportunity to distract oneself from the constant flow of information, relax and restore internal balance. She advised to take at least 30 minutes a day off from gadgets, using this time for a walk in the fresh air, meditation or reading books.
