Two people were injured when an AFU drone attacked a car in Zaporizhzhya region

In Zaporizhzhya Region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a civilian car with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), injuring two people. This was reported by the Governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky in the official Telegram-channel on February 10.

"On the highway Mikhailovka - Vasilievka, Kiev terrorists deliberately directed a UAV at a civilian car. A family was traveling in the car: a woman, a man and their five-year-old grandson," Balitsky wrote.

He also specified that the woman is in extremely serious condition. The boy was not injured, at the moment his condition is being monitored by doctors.

Balitsky noted that the family will be given all the necessary assistance.

On the same day, the Izvestia correspondent reported that the AFU struck the Kievskyi district of Donetsk with the use of airplane-type attack drones. He noted that on the evening of February 9, at least three attack drones flew over the area, which were most likely homemade.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
