In Nizhny Tagil, a woman faked her kidnapping to extort money

In Nizhny Tagil, a woman staged her own kidnapping to extort 1 million rubles from her sister. This is reported by the source of "Izvestia" on February 10.
"On February 8, a woman born in 1984 received several messages sent from her sister's number on behalf of an unknown attacker. It was written: "Don't look for Ksyusha anymore, she's gone", followed by calls not to contact the police - otherwise the interlocutor threatened to reprisal the victim. Then came a message with a ransom demand of 1 million rubles and a video with a girl with long blond hair, her eyes covered with hair and her mouth taped with duct tape," the source said.
The woman said that on February 5, her sister, born in 1992, was supposed to take a train to Yekaterinburg. A previously convicted acquaintance of the sister confirmed that she had done so, and specified that he did not know about the whereabouts of her friend. It was soon established that the allegedly missing girl did not purchase travel documents.
"It turned out that no one committed illegal actions, this message the girl sent to her sister on her own to get 1 million rubles from her," explained the interlocutor.
On the fact of what happened is being checked.
